Danny Glover is an acclaimed actor, director, producer and longtime friend of Haiti. His directorial debut, Toussaint, focused on the life of François-Dominique Toussaint Louverture, a former slave who became one of the fathers of Haiti’s independence from France in 1804. He is chairman of the board of TransAfrica Forum and executive producer of a new documentary Soundtrack for a Revolution.
