KNBC weathercaster calls Today’s Al Roker ‘kook’, later apologizes


A morning weathercaster for NBC Los Angeles calls  “Today” weathercaster Al Roker a ‘kook’ during live cut-in, later apologizes on Twitter.

KNBC’s morning weathercaster Elita Loresca was caught on-air this morning calling Al Roker a “kook.”

The mishap occurred during a regional cut-in for the West Coast airing of NBC’s morning show, “Today” where KNBC’s cut-in ran longer than it should of (due to a technical error) and caught Loresca calling Roker a “kook” and singing a few bars of  Bruno Mars‘ ‘The Lazy Song”.

Shoe would later apologize during the following cut-in.
